I have 3 Henrys and sold my Winchester. The Henrys were just better guns but the Winchester was more nostalgia than anything

I have Winchesters, Marlins, Savage 99s, and Henrys in various models, flavors and rounds.

I like them all. The only time I ever had a lever action jam was a Win 94 made in 1965.

    In the woods...
    Winchester.

If you can't get that, a Marlin or Ssvage.

I've owned Henry's, but mine had polymer sights and a cast receiver. 22 lr and wmr. I was not impressed.

I want a Henry long Ranger in 223.

A Henry big boy in 44 mag to go with my Redhawk.

And more uberti revolvers and rifles. So far knock on wood, no issues with the two I have but I run cowboy loads only. I like uberti. Fit in finish is good. Not perfect but it’s still better than Henry. Henry has gotten better. In 2016 I had a Henry 45-70 that I should not have traded.

The long ranger rifles look good and I think I’ll go that direction vs another blr. Also had a blr in 30-06 I traded. Light gun for an 06. Definitely said hello. I can see a long ranger in 243 or 22-250 being a nice set up.

Since I caused a derailment, how about a picture?

1873, 1894, and an 1892. Please note the size of the loading gates. All three guns are .32 caliber. The ‘94 is .32 Winchester special. Basically a larger diameter 30-30. The other two are .32 Winchester Center Fire (WCF), aka 32-20. One round is suitable for deer, the other is not.

You decide which is suitable for deer hunting. I don’t want to sound ignorant.
