Whoops! Keep forgetting to mention that we are in Frisco. We have been cooking in the heat sans the rain droplets. It has been slowly coming down i not just a drizzle but we will take it. The forecast says scattered rain for the next three days! and add that to the weird blast we had a few dys go and there is hope we'll make it through July ..... maybe.

It has been raining here steadily since 10 pm last night so far we have gotten 4.5", good lord it is a miracle.
Great for the watershed and the water wells , dock is nowhere near floating but it has more water under it than
    the past 6 years.

Rain Gauge reads just under 5"

Man that's great news, happy for you!
That picture is significantly different from others you've shown recently. Is the lake now just a few feet from normal elevation?

No , they said it would have to rain 12" to bring the lake to level. We just rolled in from Temple checked the rain gauge and has rained another 1/2 inch with more on the way.
Lake is still down and can see no real improvement but give it a couple days and we may get a rise.

Still a good ways from the homestead
