Zastava M92 is probably the best deal going on an AK pistol in 7.62x39 right now. Maybe the M85 if you want a .223. The Arsenal SAM7K is a nice milled Bulgarian AK pistol but more expensive.

Major, you have a link to an "M85"? I'm kinda' interested in a .223 pistol (any format) and just too lazy at the moment to use google.

What exactly is a "...permanently attached circular protector."? Just a tube to protect the muzzle? How difficult would it be to add threads and attach a suppressor?

"The muzzle is protected by a circular muzzle guard that is screwed on, then spot-welded in one place. The weld can be easily removed and a normal AK muzzle brake can be installed in its place. The sight base is drilled for the spring-loaded locking pin." (Source).
