Just looking to increase my collection of cartridges. I'm not looking to spend much if anything but if there's anyone local on the north east side of town who might want to trade for some 22s or 9s or shells or something then let me know what you have and I'll let you know what I could use.

I have most of the basics of modern rounds but never hurts to list them as there's some very common ones I still don't have.

I'm located in converse and do work in cibolo, shertz, universal city. And garden ridge. My shop is just off 281 and 1604. I can meet anywhere around these areas or if it's more than 1 or 2 rounds I can meet a little further.

If you're well out of San Antonio but have some interesting rounds you think I may need I may be willing to pay to ship them or still trade for other stuff.

    Thank you
    Lynx Defense

I just came into some 30 Savage and 22 Savage. Their age is not known but they are old (and not really very tarnished). Also, some .32 stuff I've yet to look at closely. I'm North of the outer loop about 45 min. or so, but I wouldn't mind sending you some (wouldn't be much). I'll wait until I've gone through it all and let you know what all I have.

I've got some 32 long and shorts from a nagant revolver I used to have. I do not howerlcer have a 32 mag (h&r I think ?!?)

The 2 savage rounds sound cool though. I have some 22 lr I could trade you for them? Let me know any other calibers you have and I'll let you know what I can use.

Dubious Dan: I've decided to stay away from the wsm and wssm rounds and stick to regular mag rounds, though I wouldn't mind having one wsm and one wssm just for reference in the collection. Other then that I'm just looking for different calibers. Not so much different brands/types/loads/designations so much as just different rounds. One 30.06. One 308. One 9mm. Instead of one ball, one tracer, one AP all in the same caliber. As for what they are, I don't have any preference to condition or designation (AP, API, tracer...) As long as I have one.

This is just a hobby I have been working on I'll post a list of what I already have later. I have a couple more than what all is in this picture here but you get the idea. The frame is a shadow box my wife was going to put them in. The bottom row is all military rounds, then there are handgun rounds and towards the middle there are some lever action rounds. Top right there are common hunting rounds. Towards the middle are also sections of modern military carbine rounds and a section for mag rounds.

I already gave almost all of my oddball rounds away. I've got one round of .22 Winchester Automatic you are welcome to. I've got the rifle too for it, but lord knows how old that cartridge is.

On another not there is a very small round I need to ID. If you look at the picture there are 3 rounds together on the right side and just hanging out by the end of them is a little bottle necked guy. It is a center fire, not a rimfire. I'm not sure what that little feller is...

What I have that I don't see on your list (unless I miss it) 22 Hornet, 6.5 Swedish (6.5X55) and 35 Rem. I live just off 1604 near Fiesta Texas. I have some spent cases for 222.

I have "Cartridges of the World" by Frank Barnes that might help you identify your unknowns.

I have the specs on it written down but haven't compared it yet.

I could definitely use those. I could trade a handful of 22lr for them if you're willing to meet me?

I may be in that area tomorrow after work around 6-7ish

The time is fine. No need to trade, you can have them.

I'll give you a .303 British Mk VII, .30'06 Ball, AP and Tracer, all WWII dated if you'll pay the shipping.

I'll sell or trade you a .55 Boys Anti-Tank round for what I pay for them: $25.00/round or equivalent in .22LR, .380 ACP, 9MM, or .45 ACP.

Saw my first 500 A-square a couple weekends ago.
The gun was a heavey SOB ... but the round looked like a cannon round.

I'll see if I can snag a round from the guy.

I don't know anything about the a-square but I've heard tales of its mystical powers. And I hear that just holding a 55biys round will make your peeped grow and inch... At least that's what I hear anyways. Never held one myself so mines still small

I'd love to buy q boys round but my wife would murder me for spending that on one bullet right now.

Sparsky. I'd love yo get a ae round if we can happen to be in the same area at some point.

Mitch, if you could get your hands on an a-square for me I could swing you a few bullets or bucks for your trouble and would be in your debt.

Sapper, if I can talk my wife into it or if I come across enough ammo to trade maybe we can work something out. I had a chance at a boys kit a few years back but passed as I didn't want to hassle with it. Boy did I screw up!

Some particular ones I'm looking for are some of the purpose built ar type rounds like the .300 whisper and blackout, the .204 ruger, some more of the older military rounds not listed, a .22 extra long, some other hunting rounds like the 8mm-06 and .280 rem., some of the magnum rounds still including the auto-mags

I'm also curious on some of the alley improved rounds as well as some of the other wildcats

I could produce 300blk, 280rem, 357 SuperMag (357max) and 445 SuperMag. I will dig through my "catch all" ammo can to see if I have anything else that may be of use in your collection.

I can bring them down the next time I head to SA, which will probably be in the next few weeks.

Damn... I haven't ever heard of a 445 super mag. Sounds fun! I'm assuming is a revolver with a nice long barrel that shoots them??
