Apparently don't care. Totally irresponsible if a law enforcement agency posted that. No one in thiet right mind would support them. Where is this supposed to be?
Thanks. Was good to see the number of commenters, LEO's included, who don't agree. Most definitely an indication of the militaristic tendencies of PD's these days, perverting a military slogan like that.
they are just preparing the American mindset to martial law coming to a town near you
there is a conditioning process and we are deep into that process now.
welcome to "shelter in place" "stay off the streets"
its the one-two punch against liberty
1993, the Federal Government under Bill Clinton began to arm police with surplus military arms and equipment. (It was all part of his propaganda program to fight the war on drugs and restore law and order in urban (ghetto) areas.
Clinton was happy to have all surplus U.S.G.I. M1911s destroyed, and was just as happy to send fully automatic M-16s to civilian police departments.
That has since escalated dramatically.
I always take note that police chiefs like to wear four stars (as if they were military Generals) and their subordinates wear military rank to boot.
To change the militarization of the police forces, we have to force them to abandon military rank insignia which implies they are "special." It bugs the shit out of me when I see an obese police sergeant with three chevrons sewed to his sleeve, or a Lieutenant eating donuts and drinking coffee for free at a coffee house.
Firemen and EMS have less "in your face" insignia.
We understand that. But that's not what the statement the post makes. It is promoting that law enforcement be viewed and conducted in same manner as military. At least that's image it gave me.
