WTS: S&W 1911PD Commander

For sale is a S&W SW1911PD Commander. Started out as this one: Product: Model SW1911PD Pistol (I no longer have the laser grips). It has been bobtailed, duracoated and has some very nice custom ultra thin grips. I've put about 1000 rounds through it (before the duracoat as I just got it back from the smith yesterday with the new finish) and it worked great with all semi-wadcutters, FMJ and JHP I put through it. I just realized I didn't miss it while it was gone so I'm selling to buy something new that hopefully I'll shoot more. Comes with 2 factory 8rd mags, bushing wrench, manual and hard case. Asking $775 shipped ($750 FTF in Amarillo, TX area) to your FFL...USPS money order only. Make sure your FFL will accept from a non-FFL.

Great looking Smith. The DuraKote is particularly nice. Can I ask who did the refinishing? I have a stainless CZ75 slide I would like to get coated.

Mike Miracle in Amarillo did it for me. Any smith should be able to do a good durakote though, just takes some good prep work.

And, this pistol has been SOLD.
