I'd like to trade a S&W .38 Airweight with internal hammer for a Marlin 1894 in .44 mag. I'd prefer the model with the octagonal barrel, but the round barrel would be fine as well.
I'm the second owner of the revolver, and bought it several years back for my wife to carry CCW. The gun is in great mechanical shape, and doesn't have any rust. There is some carry wear on the finish, but no deep scratches or gouges. I'm unsure of how many rounds the previous owner fired through the pistol, and we've put less than 100 rounds through the barrel. This is a great little CCW gun and the wife loved it but she was able to beat me out of my K Frame 357.
Right now the pistol is wearing a pair of AJAX imitation mother of pearl grips with inlaid S&W medallions. Also have a pair of white mother of pearl grips bought from McBrides in Austin and the original black rubber grips. I also have a molded leather pocket holster that will go with the gun. FTF only and I'm willing to drive up to 200 mi to meet halfway. Thanks for looking.
