No offense taken. Like I put in the description, someone sanded down the grips at one point in the the past for some reason, but the serial numbers stamped on the inside do match the rest of the gun, so they are original. It is definitely an original German 9mm factory Mauser, not a Chinese version and not a later 9mm conversion. We can tell this by the serial number range, by the sight leaf unique to this model, by the 9mm mag follower and by the unaltered 9mm barrel.
