Nice pictures but for us non-fanatics how about a picture of the Description followed by pictures. I guess you don't know it but you're following a tradition on here. Nice pictures with no identification.

    Welcome to the group.

The US had the Sherman, which was crap. But we had many breve men and the Sherman was easy to build in overwhelming quantity.
The German Tiger was a marvel, very powerful. But so complex it was slow to build and hard to maintain.
    We win.

I think the Germans generally had superior technology, but they couldn’t scale production fast enough.

Yep, had the German been able to field all the technologies they were developing, there could have been a much different outcome to WWII...

Germany couldn't win without fuel. Germany needed to take Russia to get fuel. Germany couldn't beat Russia without fuel. Germany could not possibly have won the war.

Also, steel and other materials. The war was lost for them as soon as they became locked in to drawn out campaigns.

Also, the "best tank" question isn't nearly specific enough. The Panzers were great for their intended purpose which was not tank V tank warefare but infantry support. The Stug was also designed to soften targets for infantry but turned out to be a great tank killer. Does it count as a tank? The T-34 was terrible in a lot of ways but by the time it was finally getting sorted out the Germans were out of fuel and on the run. Tiger tanks would basically have their way with the T-34s (the few Tigers available) so if only comparing the tanks directly a functional Tiger could take out a T-34 before the 34 could fire back with enough accuracy to even bounce a shell. The T-34 used sloped armor but the Germans used harder steel. There were also metallurgy issues with the soviet tanks, but I think they had a lot of them sorted out by late 1943.

Also difficult to go buy tank kills because the Germans tended to be much better at using their tanks that the Russians, British, or Americans.

The M4 Sherman with a British 17 pounder could match the Tiger but they were in limited numbers as well and were only a variant of a model so do those count on their own? If so, they might be able to hold the title of "best".

I don't think it's all that simple to pick a "best" tank, but it's always fun to argue about favorites.

Think that pretty much covers the waterfront.

    Gunz are icky.
    Panzer V

T-34 = rugged, reliable, huge numbers.

Panzer V = excellent gun. Mechanically unreliable in early versions.
If Der Fuhrer hadn't of fucked it up with his ignorant ass redesigning every damn thing it would of been the best medium tank of the war.
Also Not available in large numbers.
