I think the senate is still in session, the normal posting rules were suspended. I don't know if that affects anything outside of the committee though. Any way, the senate seems to still be in session today. It might get passed pretty soon. I don't THINK it can be voted on until a second reading, though. Anyone know more about the process?

Sen. Dan Patrick has sponsored it in the senate.
