For example, many of us do believe that you should have to show ID to vote. But, where we differ is that we think identification should be a free service provided to US citizens. That's because we have a huge population of people who can barely afford housing and food in the US, so asking them to spent $50 for a birth certificate so they can submit it to their DMV for another $72 for an ID shouldn't be a profit grab for the government or outsourced private companies JUST so they can vote. If all US Citizens have identification, then the argument goes away from the liberals. But, let's be honest, they ONLY want the removal of IDs so that illegal citizens can vote to the party that caters to them.

You're supporting the very people who want to strip us of our Second Amendment protections and make you and me instant felons. You're a proud member of a political party that warmly welcomes radical socialists. Socialism is incompatible with individual weapons ownership. Socialism can only exist when the populace has been stripped of their agency and ability to resist or influence the ruling class. This is not difficult math...but I'm sure you'll be in soon with great, twisty logical stretches to try to tell me how I'm wrong and how "real socialism isn't like that".

But at the end of the day...you know I'm right.

You need lessons in History and Logic.
The left says we are evil and want to take our guns. The same guns that YOU have. You don't fit with the right of you so you vote for the left you. But as far as they are concerned, YOU are to the right and they want YOUR guns too. Alternately, once they succeed in getting ours, who do you think they are going after next. Yup, the "moderate" left.
In every Communist and Socialist government, every dictatorship, the first thing they do is disarm their enemy. Then they disarm their supporters. For safety. Their safety, not yours.

And they don't care how much of a "hobby" it is.

ID in Texas $16.00. I Imagine most spend more on ther cell phone each month. You are stereotyping the Poor as stupid or careless because they can't keep track of their Birth certificate. something Dems like to do

Ok, now make that argument for buying guns...

I have a lot less problems with some being priced out of voting (its probably good to not have poors voting themselves money, ut thats a discussion for later) than I do with having to do a background check or paying taxes on firearms and related equipment.

Every single voter in the US believes they are a moderate.

I bet you vote for "pro gun" democrats. If elected, they will be sidelined as a traitor for voting pro gun, which means you won't get much representation from them. Furthermore, the D next to their name will allow the Anti-gun D party to take the majority, set an anti-gun legislative agenda, and deprive you and me of our constitutional rights.

This is a gun forum. Don't expect much support for moderate anti-gun views here.
