I’m pretty fortunate with my main clients…they’re closed from a few days before Christmas, until Jan 4. Technically I’m “working” so I’ll collect a paycheck…but there’s nothing to do and I work from home.

Basically it’s PTO without having to burn my actual vacation time.

In my former ad career with the same clients, we were technically closed but we always had production happening, so I ended up working.

My wife gets 4 vacation weeks per year.
I get 3…but with the “free” 2 weeks for Christmas, I effectively have 5 weeks

Sucks to be you. My boss is insanely wealthy and hates giving time off and raises/bonus. It’s really important he can afford a double digit million dollar private jet. Plus I gotta look trailers over in crappy weather. Be jealous dude. My jobs where it’s at.
