I'm just here to make PSA fanbois heads explode. I don't care how I have to accomplish it.

PSA is for faggots. Is that better?
    You dropped this, king.

In all seriousness though, I don't have a hateboner for Palmetto, but one of the few things of theirs I've ever bought was a compact Dagger frame and the trigger would never reset with 2 different OEM Glock uppers. Their rep on reddit's response was "It's a known issue, just cycle the action a million times or buy a Ghost disconnector lol."

Oh, and the 200 round batch of their 77 gr 5.56 I bought had loose primer pockets and they're still trying to RMA my open ticket from October.

Idk, I tried to watch that vid a few days ago and couldn’t finish it.

I did remember thinking at one point “that barrel is F’d just based on the ROF and thought the test overall was kind of dumb.

    No mention of RG?

I've got an RG revolver that I will almost certainly bring with me the next time I get to a TGT Family Reunion. I'll put it on the prize table but I seriously doubt anyone will choose it over a T-shirt.
I've got an RG .22 that I only fire with my off-hand. Scared it'll blow up in my good hand.

Bought 2 Remington 1911s when they first came out and a 870 20ga pump over 10 years ago and they all were great. After that they got famous for putting out shitty pistols and poor QC rifles. I guess I got lucky with the ones I bought.

    I’ve had several Tauri, from .22LR to a MP-145 45ACP compact.

    Never a moment’s problems.

Now, I had a new Beretta AL2 disassemble itself first shot fired; gun parts all over field. They soon discontinued the model.

And a Browning “Light12” A5 whose wood swole up upon its very first visiting a duck blind.

Auto-Ordnance / Kahr, is manufacturing shelf queens, or show guns, not intended for use with live ammo.

I worked on a new, current production, 1928A-1 Auto-Ordnance/ Kahr recently. The machining was horrendous. The fire control parts were not hardened correctly and were grossly misaligned. Dealing with the parts department at Kahr proved to be the one thing more F-ed up than the machining on the gun. After 8 months, numerous calls, emails, and one nasty letter, parts were " manufactured" locally.

I can agree with this. The Aluminum frame on my Tommy Gun from them was a brilliant idea.......

If I'm remembering the right video, the barrel lasted about 6000 rounds. They judged it toast when it could no longer shoot inside ~8 inches (I'm fuzzy on details) at 100 yards.

I once read an article where a (seemingly competent) gun writer said that if you wanted to get into ARs, you should buy a cheap one and 5K rounds. Spend that ammo in serious practice and during paid, competent training. After the 5K is gone, sell the rifle, being honest about the round count. By then, you should have an idea what features you really want (if you want to stay with the platform at all) and you can then buy a much more expensive, higher quality rifle that meets your very particular needs, and that will be worth hanging on to for the rest of your life.

I thought that was good advice and from what I can tell, the PSA could have served quite well in that role.

The particular rifle the writer was using to illustrate his point was a Del-Ton but I don't remember if his point was actually "Follow this introductory training plan" or "Here's how to not feel bad about buying a Del-Ton."

Do or have you actually owned any, or are you just parroting what you read on the Internet?

I have several, and not only have they performed flawlessly (minus a 1980s revolver I inherited), they outperform many other pistols that cost a lot more.

Sure, I don't EDC one; but I'd have no reservations doing so if it was my only choice.

Revolver. TM82-38sp. Issue of barrel flying out.

We made it this far with no mention of Bear Creek Arsenal?

Never owned or shot one btw. Just a name that's usually associated with these discussions.
I got one of their el-cheapo 7.62x39 side charger uppers on a whim. Don't have many rounds through it, but I like it, it shoots decent groups, and I haven't had any issues.

Their conclusion was it was worn out at ~4k rounds. They measured it by group size after every 1000 rounds. Initially it was ~1 MOA. I skipped most of the video but at 5k, it was shooting a 7-8" group.
