It's time to start a new dead pool for the new year.

Remember, folks, this is the place to announce deaths but the real point of any dead pool is to make predictions early in the year and then track whether you got them right for the rest of the year.

With that in mind, my (first?) pick for this year is Glynis Johns, the last living major star from the so-called Golden Age of Hollywood.
