As the title states, let's get together at Trinity Armory and show-off our 30-30's. I just now saw one member's post state the he hadn't shot his in 50 years!

Trinity opens at 10am and will be first come first served. They have 25 rifle lanes and 25 pistol lanes. Rifle lanes tend to be busier. The gent at the Range advised the more the merrier and to come on. $25.00 fee and $23.00 for vets or first responders. Shoot all day. 25/50/100 yard paper with clothes pins on chicken wire and 200/250/300 yard steel of all sorts. Bet we'd like to see some 300 yard 30-30 hits.

So I'll be there with the 1975 Marlin 336C. Who's in?

    Somewhere in Texas!
2 hours 2 minutes via 99, my almost daily drive from Weimar to the subdivisions I normally work in.

Unless I'm lucky enough to be around Bridgeland and Towne
Lake. Which I really don't consider lucky, the builders there cannot schedule for shit, and the trades don't know how to park. Pre housing bust, if we would have parked like they do now, we'd have been fined $250.

Friday I was in Westwood, League City area, two morons parked with their trailers allowing enough room for a Tacoma to fit thru on the street, a full size truck no way.

Good! Remind me to give you back those 30-30 rounds you gave me.
    Y'all can "enjoy " them.
Pfft. I think I've got plenty more, but haven't dug around much. My Marlin 336 is still sporting that awesome Weaver scope you gave me. Sighted it in, but haven't shot in in a long time.
