I wiped off the Marlin 336C today to put it up safe and sound. On Saturday I launched 80 rounds down-range. That guy hadn’t seen that many rounds touched off in 30 years. I saw the lever pivot screw was working its way out. I screwed it back in. Then I figured, I might as well check the rest of the screws. Three were a half a turn loose and three needed a snug-up. Lesson is- if you work the hell out of a tool- tune it up before you put it up.

I like this range, i shoot there fairly often.

I like ringing the steel with my AR.

Haven’t gone shooting since I was going hunting instead. But I am finished hunting, may start shooting again.

    Gunz are icky.
My one complaint about the range was the steel targets at 300 were in terrible condition.
All shot to hell and impossible to see unless you had a powerful optic.
Trying to shoot at them using irons was difficult.
The range boss said they had some new targets coming in very soon.
So hopefully that will be fixed up shortly.

No range is perfect, but it is certainly better than most I have been to.
