So we can all assume then, this ruling isn't a ruling at all. That all this talk is just talk.

Nobody has put a penis in your mouth or up your ass without your consent. If they have, it's rape, a criminal act, which isn't affected in the least​ by gay marriage.

They're just getting a state-recognized marriage license now that your morality isn't being forced on them the same way you're complaining about now.

No, they're on equal ground now. Very different. You have yours, they have theirs, and they co-exist on a level playing field now.

Not really, there are a multitude of activities licensed by the states independently that are not recognized across state lines. Yours for example. Why not? You have an inherent right to do what you love, it is an integral part of who you are. Why should you be subject to a patchwork of laws denying your chosen activity?

There are some people I have a lot of respect for that I don't agree with on this subject.

I know that they won't agree with my view no matter how I explain it. I know because this conversation has happened many times before.

I know how they reached their conclusion and have enough respect to not try to beat them over the head with my opinion on it.

Glad we still have the freedom to discuss such things, but hope it doesn't cause any bad blood between good people. Seems the subjects is spreading all over the forum and you can't get away from it.

Yeah I'm not for gay marriage, but not against it. Let the gays do what they want and leave me alone, less government. The way the country is heading though we might as well take the S out of the USA. State rights don't stand a chance anymore.
