Gun control works in Canada. Homicides are lower and Canadians are not as fearful because guns are not as prevalent in society and by not having people carrying guns would make me feel safer. But the downside is that burglaries are higher in Canada. There are both good things and bad things in gun control.

Buglaries are now lower in Canada since 2005 if police recorded B&E is to be believed and assaults have always been lower in Canada. The GSS says otherwise as I pointed out.
