My wife loves pickled beets, but she's a California health nut.

I have had it in a smoothie. She makes smoothies with various fruits and veggies. Most of them taste good, so I drink what she makes. THey are all very healthy.

Beets are supposed to be crazy good for you. It helps your body regulate blood pressure, feeds the probiotics in your digestive tract and is an anti-inflammatory.

If they are pickled I will eat them. Usually just buy a can, throw em in a bowl with vinegar and enjoy later. Not like I go out of my way to eat them though.

Best veggie for the coracao... (heart) literally a true power vegetable. I actually enjoy the tastes, gre uo eating my grannies pickled beets. My wife is Brazilian and they generally love them. Part of every salad.

I'm meh on beets - neither for or against. My wife loves them roasted, so it's food in front of me and I eat it.
