    I name other people's cars.
A friend's Tesla was Miss Daisy. (Traded for an Acura.)
His Acura SUV was White Lightning. (Replaced by Ole Blue.)

Just the spare vehicle for some reason.
    The 98 F150 was "whitey".
    The 06 Tundra is "smoothie".

Everything else is "her car" or "my truck".

I don't name my vehicles. I just call them the Ford, the Mazda, the GMC. My wife had named her old Honda CR-V.

Matt Carriker from demolition ranch names all of his vehicles. Some of them are Earl, Merle, and Pearl. The new dump truck is Optimus.

Derek on Vice Grip Garage has peculiar names for car parts. Fuel make it happener, lightening hoses, spark make it happener, ice cube juice. He names some of his cars and trucks too.

I’ll preface this by saying I don’t name my things, not even my cars.

I get it, lots of folks name their cars.
Tacoma - Taco, I get it.

But taking to some guys today, they even name their car parts. Or the brand of their cars.

    Genesis (car brand) - Genny
    Bilsteins shocks - Billys
    Silverado - Sylvie
    Goodyear tires - Goodys
    Tundra - Tundy
    Raptor - Rappy
    Gladiator - Gladdy
    Lexus - Lexi
    Telluride - Telly

WTF are you 12 years old?
Maybe I’m just old and cranky.
    Get off my lawn.
These are the same cork soakers who call a shotgun a shotty

No, but I do sometimes refer to my Dodge pickup as the RoboGoat.

I don't and never have named any of my vehicles. I have a Yamaha Yzf R1 that my wife calls Lightning. I guess because it's fast. But saying it's fast is actually a huge understatement. It's a damn rocket, especially with one down, two up sprockets.
