    It makes sense. Most folks rent cars when traveling. And since most folks don’t own EVs, they don’t have accounts setup on the various charging networks.

    I like EVs but I don’t want to dick around looking for charging stations, setting up accounts, etc while I’m traveling.

    Only Model 3 and Ys. I saw some low mileage, less than 30k, for $27-30k, all base models. Not a horrible deal but not good enough for me to get one. I also don’t really care for those two models. If they had some reasonable Model S I might be interested.

    The higher mileage ones for $17k could be a good deal for an Uber or delivery driver.

    From talking to some people at rental car places last year, I think it's a lot harder for them to get decent turn-arounds. The charging issue is a lot harder to solve for rentals than gasoline. Even a friend of mine who runs an electric vehicle at home had issues when using a rental here in Texas.
