is your nephew also hispanic? was he being serious? are kids really that dumb now?
Sadly this is true, wife's from El Paso. I read her FB every once in awhile. This next generation coming up is poised to make Millennial's look hard working and responsible.

I am about as conservative as you can get, and I don't care who somebody sleeps with or marries. I believe that most conservatives think the same thing; at least the conservatives that I personally know think the same way. Many of us were upset over the way the supreme court legalized gay marriage, but I suppose that is another topic entirely.

I have a sister who is a raging liberal. She bought into the notion that conservatives are bigoted, racist, sexist pigs who hate anybody who thinks differently about the social issues of the day.

She isn't alone and her thinking is predictable when you consider that she, along with most other liberals, get their news from organizations who promote a leftist agenda and, instead of reporting honestly, they paint a very bad picture of anybody who disagrees with them. Think about it: if your "news' comes from The View, MSNBC and Colbert, you are going to believe that conservatives want to treat gays like second class citizens or worse.

Problems like this will continue until we have some intellectual honesty from the left as well as conservatives speaking out and making their positions known without the emotion.

I have liberal relatives and being a member of the vast right wing conspiracy in good standing I can't help from taking pokes at their socialism, namby pamby crap every chance I get to the point that they will hardly talk to me anymore which is a good thing. They especially like to post their crap on social media and that is a good place to repudiate their garbage. My sister in law who just loves facebook called my wife and asked her to tell me to quit because all her friends are wondering who would dare post something not liberal.

They're family and family comes before everything else. I also don't get my knickers in a knot when someone has a different political opinion than I do, but most of my family has enough sense to not talk politics at the dinner table.

Actually, Friends are more important than Family.

My sister is so far left that is impossible to carry on a civil conversation with her or her misguided split-tail offspring.

    Friends are thicker than blood.

Brothers and cousins fought each other during the Civil War, but friends remained loyal to each other till the very end.

    Be well.

Weird how Filipinos think.. I grew up in Carson California 40% flip. Heck even my barber was filipino. Anyway its a very conservative culture, Very catholic and very family oriented.. BUT they have no issues taking a hand out and a lot i know have a very liberal mindset.
MY wife now is filipino (moved with me from cali, not mail ordered lolzz) and of course my father in law and mother in law live with us.. and her sister.. =0( Full house, its sort of a package deal.

Anyway my wife is cool and shit, very conservative, into guns and self reliance. The rest of her family not so much. We just dont talk politics. I have several friends and cousins in cali that will not talk to me about politics... As a reformed Democrat and bornagain Texan they know where i stand.

    Just dont bring it up.

I remain completely baffled that some would rather be murdered than defend themselves with a gun.

Or, pretend gay marriage isn't laughable.

Or, you should get a tax payer funded check while being able bodied when you could get a job. Self worth being unheard of.

Or, twist yourself into verbal pretzels to remain politically correct.

Or....ok, I'll stop, but the list of bs that is liberalism goes on and on and on and on..
