Riding has been so much of my life, I can't imagine not riding. I'm the guy they call crazy for riding on days others wouldn't think of riding. After losing my fiance to cancer and losing a great deal of money to relatives, riding was the only thing that kept me sane. In fact I gave up everything I had, except what would fit on my bike to go out riding and not look back, and I can't describe the feeling of that kind of freedom.

Yes, I may one day lose my life to riding, but the way I look at it, if it wasn't for riding I may already be dead.

I've seen over 190 indicated, but bike speedometers are notoriously optimistic.
Yeah I did 180+ indicated, but with a 1 tooth down sprocket on the back but a bigger tire, and knowing the speedos are junk, probably more like 150's. On a '91 GSX-R 1100 with a few go fast parts. Official top speed was like 160'ish, so maybe? Either way, it made for quick work of the 13 mile commute.

As for what I'd go back and change? The biggest one, is I should have joined the service. I didn't, because I didn't want to get stuck in a DOD, NSA, DIA, or other similar gig. I wanted to fly jets, still do.
