Is this a good trade?

Got a buddy wanting to trade me his brand new CZ Shadow 2 Compact with a Trijicon RMR on it. I have a Legion 229 SAO with a Sig romeo pro 1 and a TLR-8 light. I have never shot the CZ Compact or even held one since they have been so hard to find, I’m wondering is this a good trade or should I keep my Legion. Let me know your thoughts.

Money wise, they're close, so it depends on personal preference. @ZX9RCAM makes a good point.

I've owned full size versions of each and would give the edge to the S2. That gun just wants you to shoot fast. YMMV.

ETA: The RMR is hands down a much better optic than the Romeo.

Cam has a good idea.

Not including the above, I would trade for the CZ in a heartbeat. The CZ brand has always fit me better than the Sigs do.

But that's just my two pennies.

The only way to know is a test drive then buy the one you like better and never look back or question the pick.

Beauty, and therefore value, is in the eye of the beholder. I most certainly agree with the range comparison, but, if you like the CZ, then get it and don't look back.

Always keep the Sig. Especially since its a Legion.

Unless its a 2022. Then take whatever you can get for it. I traded a 10-22 for mine.
