The unit in question operates in the West Bank, and one of their most notable human rights violations was against an 80 year old US Citizen who they bound up and left for dead. These sanction recommendations have been drafted up since before October 7th, and the violations are from a from a non Hamas controlled territory. Your sole counter point doesn’t apply here.
