    So you are in Texas. If you are in West Texas you have a 13 hour drive, without stops to my area. If you are in South Texas you have it made, you are only 12 hours away, without stops.
    I understand you may be reluctant to say where you are from, but it may be a good idea to let us know where you are ( in general) domiciled.

    And welcome to the forum,
    I am in DFW and have also been looking for a lease, Would you mind sending me a DM?

    It's very depressing. I was on a great lease, but the manager died and the owner decided to sell. The new owner quadrupled the price. I keep looking, but I'm honestly considering selling off my hunting gear. It's very depressing.

    This is the predicament I am in, Hunted with my granddad on a lease he rented from an old lady for 20+ years. She died and her kids sold the land off. Hunted on a friends property then his uncle who owned it got married and his new wife considered them her “Pet Deer”. Now everyone I talk to about going in on a lease with me leaves me hanging last minute and I have to back out.

    I wouldn’t go selling all your equipment just yet, I’ve told myself the right deal will come along at the right time. Just takes a little patience.

    Has anyone ever done a split lease 50/50 with another hunter or would they let you do that if someone was willing? This sounds kinda gay but only you would.
    think like that. ;
