I started a new detached shop this week.

Slab is done and the steel arrives Thursday so they will be able to start almost immediately

    I went with a 30x36 deep x 12ft high wall.

    3:12 pitch roof

20 foot roof extension coming off the front for covered parking

That will have gravel not concrete under it
Will also have it spray foamed with close cell when the electrical is done.

10x10 door in front and a 3ft man door also
The door is commercial but a standard panel not a roll up.
Opener and remote with phone app is in the package
I hate how the roll up doors rattle in the wind and you can't seal them so I went with this style that will look more residential also

On the side that will open up into my back yard I had a 18x8 patio extension that will be covered and a 4ft man door opening up under that.

I'll keep posting pics as it progresses

All shop? Some man cave? A lot of both?
I have a man cave / reloading/gym already that's heated and air conditioning.

This new shop will hold all of my mechanics tools and welding metal working stuff.
And more space..a place to park vehicles inside while we're out of town and a shelter for them when bad weather hits.

Gonna be nice to be able to work on a vehicle inside and not out in the driveway

Great price, I had a customer get quoted 60 for just a shell not including concrete, electrical, plumbing or anything else.
    This a Mueller building
    26 gage sheets
    Weld up
    Big beams

I did forget that I paid $2300 for a big panel 10x10 door with opener
That was extra my builder is gonna rough in the opening and the door company will do the installation

I'm also doing my own electric
