    If I were to sell it, and I don’t think that’s likely, it will be FTF at Plano PD, with an officer friend there running the buyer before I hand it over.
    Given you have a QDL to sell with it, that part at least is going to have to go through a SOT/FFL anyways, so you could just always transfer both via the FFL. I have done a deal like that before with a gun that had silencer that worked well with it. Took possession of the gun immediately, and got the silencer when the ATF decided I could.

    I completely forgot, but since you are in Texas, selling the QDL to an another in-state individual doesn't require a transfer through a SOT. It does require someone trusting you enough pass the QDL along to them after their stamp comes through. The Plano PD thing would make sense with this and likely would make the buyer feel safer about the future transfer as well. I did an in-state transfer for a Mac11 and the paperwork wasn't that hard. Definitely would be easier with someone in the same region of Texas though (mine was from Houston and we had to coordinate him bringing it up when the stamp came in).
