Forgive my preposition at the end of a sentence - "on which you haven't pulled a trigger" just doesn't seem normal. I keep looking at the "What gun did you buy today?" thread. For me, I'm thinking about getting a S&W 617 4". I keep looking at the guns on https://theshooterscorner.com/benchrest-rifles/. That place will really f'k me up. Kimber of Oregon - pretty much anything. CZ 453 with a set trigger, 1860 Army black powder revolver, H&K P7, SIG P210, P365 XL, 20 gauge Belgian A5....

I haven't bought a gun in a while, but the itch is growing. What are y'all craving? Exclude stuff like Korth revolvers (probably my P7)

Actually, I have pulled the trigger on too many reasonable guns during the last few weeks. :)
I've certainly done that in the past. I just haven't really thought about anything else that gets my juices flowing. All it took was one trip to the range last week and shooting some decent groups with a rifle - gaaah - the bug hit again.

What do you mean by reasonable? As someone who has been called "unreasonable" multiple times, my idea of reasonable probably won't match yours.

Anyways, back to looking at that OOW BAR...
LOL - ok, fair enough. How about $3k or so, but that's just a bit of the question. I posted stuff that I'm interested in that I can get for $400 or so - I just haven't pulled the trigger.

    That place east of Waco....
Right now, my list starts with a Taurus TX22 in FDE. I took my daughter with me to the LGS, and she really took a shine to it. When I went back, it was sold. Going to find another one to make our "family gun".

Next will be some type of thin EDC 9mm....either a Springfield Hellcat Pro or a Taurus GX4 Carry. For me, thinness is more important for carry than grip size, and I prefer a full-size grip.

After that....I may finally give in and buy a AR-style gun in 5.56.....

    Gunz are icky.
I look at it like this. Just get the thing. You want it. Get it. Be happy.
Being philosophical when you realize you have more yesterdays than tomorrows. why the heck not?
Sitting there worrying over it does absolutely no good. It just makes you miserable.
Now, if you truly cannot afford it then you might need to rethink things.
If a few hundred bucks is that much of a struggle then its time to consider another hobby.
I’ ve never been one to keep a gun(s) just because. Sell or trade a few to get what you want. It’s not going to wreck your life to sell a gun.
    Enjoy the new boomstick.
