It was a coworker. I asked him to show me where it states that law. I will see what he comes up with tomorrow.Hahahahaha!!!
Sorry, not sure I ever heard something that silly. Would love to know who said that.
That's a great analogy!saying I'll chamber one when I need it is the exact same as saying I'll put my seat belt on when I see the other guy run the red light.
Yes it is legal to have one in the chamber in Texas if you have your CHL otherwise CC is illegal with or without a round in the chamber.
My coworker said a CHL teacher told him so. I told him the teacher could still be wrong and to show me where it states we cant carry with a round in the chamber.yes. please tell us who said that. or least where they are basing their opinion its illegal to have a round chambered while concealed carrying.
/threadThey're full of it.
Us old single action revolver shooters might quibble, depending.Carrying a firearm WITHOUT having a round in the chamber, firearm becomes nothing more than an ammunition shortage device
that question, sir is a illegal question, according to his coworker,That's a loaded question.
Today someone told me it was not legal to carry one in the chamber while concealed carrying in Texas. I was under the impression that it was.(I wouldn't want to carry any other way) Was wondering if someone could clear this up.
Thanks
RiceKrispie, after you educate your coworker, feel free to send them here to learn the truth about the law. EVERYONE is wrong about something at some point. It doesn't have to be about belittling them, just educating them.
