When the constitution was written the founding fathers only had candles . There is no need for multifilament select wattage lightbulbs

Who's children do yall keep talking about?! "For the childrens sake"

All my girls can take care of themselves and their own lightbulbs. As I am sure yours can too. So really whose children??! And if they really need to be coddled this much, couldn't we just consider it Murphy's Law, or Natural Selection??

I don't mind permanent fixtures too much.
The portable stuff is just a bit much!

We sold our house getting ready to build a new one so now we're trying to settle into our crappy rental which means an ass pile of work for me. Yesterday I was tinkering around in the garage taking a break from chain link fence installation and the brutal heat when my wife comes in with a busted garden rake telling me I need to go pick up a new one.

I said Hell no. There ain't nothing that can't be fixed on that thing. Took it from her and fixed it up nice. I work for bullets. Not damn garden rakes!

I even prettied it up for her.

She grabbed it, thanked me and went back to her flower beds.

I'm surprised you survived that much illumination.
Have you been to the emergency room?
    Surely you've seen a doctor!

Methinks he's gonna need a bigger dog bed than the one in the background......

    Hey.

She's getting a new house. All I'm getting is a new shop LOL.

And yeah. She got a new rake LOL.

I was just happy that she didn't even blink an eye before grabbing the badass fixed rake, smiling and going back to work.

That's a good woman right there.

What does any of that have to do with the real life danger of free access to dangerous lighting apparatuses?

Damn! Some asshole stuck paperclips or something in here and burnt up half the legs on this bastard! No wonder the lights are blinking and the fridge keeps kicking off!

    hagapy2e.jpg

Solution: find a good solid leg and give it a 100 amp breaker then:

puny small caliber devices won't do any damage. Minimum, 100 lumen, 200 is better. If you are going to illuminate someone, use sufficient power.
TXARGUY, that overhead device is causing dangerous over exposure areas in that garage. I don't intend to be mean, but that is a terrible misuse of illuminatio. Not to mention dangerous. I would recomend a good shade for that pet bed too. (Just in case you need to use it).

Not sure about the floods but I have used stage quality high intensity spot lights. Altough the barrel does get hot with prolonged illumination, they are very quite, low recoil and accuracy at distance is pinpoint and devastating. They can cause severe optic irratation and massive water drain with minimal exposure. Awesome lighting device.

Need more outlets, for the sake of the beer. But use small bulbs in the beer fridge. Wouldn't want you to illuminate under the influence. Not safe.
And more stickers for camo effect.
