I get swallows(??) near mine, usually late in the evening. If 1 shows, there will be 10-20. They give chase as I blast around.

I was talking about pics OF your quad but that will work. With a high sun, I can image some high altitude shots may help me find the Apprentice. Can I buy you a beer?

Pretty uneventful flight at the damn.

Sheriff pulled up as I was binding the quad and waiting for GPS lock. I was somewhat expecting to get run off but he didn't have any issues with me flying there, mostly curious I think.

He cautioned me about getting too close to the damn. Said he wouldn't be saying anything but those at the damn might get uppity. I was actually a little nervous about the possibility of crazy wind currents near the wall so I hadn't planned to get too close anyways.

Got some video and a couple of pics.


Also flew out at LGs grand dads. Had a good time out there and flew a bit FPV style via wifi. It works ok at relatively close range and so long as you aren't trying to haul ass. He had a friend show up who wasn't aware of the quad and the idea came up that I should launch it while he was inside and try to follow him. Was a fun little experiment. Then went around the house and watched the neighbors setting up a trampoline (they were aware of the quad and the wife was hanging out with us.

The ZMR was asking to be flown. I can't leave a 500 dollar quad sit there and do nothing! I took it out in the front yard and just got "used" to it and the controls since they are largely different from my other two quads in that it's ready to go full nitrous when I touch the throttle. Did some nice banks and curves. Wasn't ballsy enough to do flips with it yet. Once I get the Fatsharks in I will be posting 1/3 CMOS 700 TLV video from what appears to be the 90's in quality! All joking aside, I also plan on getting a nice camera for the top skid plate for a good 1080p experience or at least 720p60fps.
