Does anyone run mags made the same country as your AK? Bulgarian with Bulgarian circle 10 mags fit perfect with no wiggle. I want some plum ones for some color.

I have a Bosnian "Boy Scout" mag (fluer de lis) that is the only one I really mate up with the appropriate rifles (M70AB1 and M70B2), but for the most part my Chinese flat backs are the ones I use the most in all my AKs. All the other mags I have work fine in all my rifles, and I've never had a steel or polymer mag fail me (as long as I load the right number of rounds in them!).

AK mag failure is a very rare thing unless they are physically damaged, and I've seen some pretty beat up mags function perfectly...

The current ones are 100% poly.

The next generation will have blackened stainless front and rear locking lugs.

The new one should be available for purchase in 4 or 5 weeks. Believe it when you see it.

It will cost almost twice as much as the current AK PMag at about 26 bucks each.
