My parents did that. Worked out alright from my perspectiveI wouldn't move my family there even on the various oil company compounds.

A boss of mine (a federal agent) followed her husband there. He had gotten some crazy-money job offer in the oil industry so the bureau did her a favor and allowed her to stay technically employed in LWOP (leave without pay) status for 2 years. When she came back, she was different...and not in a good way. Yeah, her husband had pulled down big money and they were set for life. But she was a lot quieter and more reserved. I won't say she lacked self-confidence because I didn't work closely with her after she returned but that was the impression she gave.Good to see, but I wouldn't move my family there even on the various oil company compounds.
Nice, what did y'all order?
I love butter chicken! Try out saag paneer, biryani, and nihari next time too. Nihari may be a bit spicy though, and different people make it different ways.Spicy fish with paratha. Butter chicken with naan. Salads.

Hate to bump up my old thread but here's a vice 5 part series on Karachi from a few years back where they go to Karachi and visit one of the most dangerous neighborhoods of the city too, among other things.
A lot more interesting than anything I posted pics of lol
Informative and interesting.

First saw one years ago, family friend who's from Peshawar had a couple of them in her house.
