I'm not a smoker, just trying to get my GF to give these a go.
I've bought her a few cheap ones, and she would only use it for a day, then back to cigs.

Gotcha. Well i was a big smoker. 13 years of 2 or more packs a day marlboro red 100s which most smokers get wide eyed about.

This is my 2nd successful time quitting vaping and the industry has gone a long way since my first time (i wanna say 2011ish?)

Shes gonna want a tank that allows her that same heavy draw as a cigarette. Thats the first thing thats gonna get her away from them besides a delicious flavor.

The more simple mod the better, the mvp3 and mvp4 are just that. I didnt have to remember to charge batteries and have extras available. Yes this mod is bigger than the pen/cigar styles but the battery life and internal battery make it worth it.

I definitely would not keep vaping during my come down from traditional cigs if i had to keep recharging, changing batteries or run out of juice with a small tank.

Another plus for the mvp3/mvp4 is you charge it with a microusb charger and it can also charge your phone or whatever so its like a SHTF extra in one. "Oh no! Zombies!!! (Puff puff) oh crap my phone is dying (plug phone in and call for help)"

Tank size, if shes a heavy smoker like 2 packs a day shes gonna want a big tank like 3.5ml or better. And shes gonna want like 24mg of nicotine to start if shes a 2 packer. Literally after my first bottle was out (30ml) i was ready to cut down to 18ml and im now at 15ml. I think i put in my previous post how its only been a few weeks now on my 2nd try.

I absolutely loved the aspire nautilus tank during my change over period. It has a nice huge 5ml tank and adjustable airflow for those heavy cigarette style draws. The smallest hole setting is the heavy draw.

I believe almost any mod can run that tank but do some research. I believe i was between 11w-15w max.

Just some info from a heavy smoker. I definitely dont see myself going back to cigs ever with the stuff on the vaping market now. I may even give up vaping but honestly it smells and tastes great and its relaxing like a tobacco hookah shares between friends at some cafe.

I went back and edited some more info in so its probably all over the place. Hopefully you can follow along.

Is there such a thing as just cigarette flavored juice?
I was talking to the GF, and she claimed that the fruity juice she picked out from a store gave her a headache.
This was in a cheaper "pen" sized e-cig, if that could possibly have something to do with it.

I'm really not thinking that is the problem, but I'm sure it's possible.
I had presumed it was a low level.
What is a good starting level for a 2 pack a day smoker?

Depends on the mod. When I started "subohm'g" 4 years ago, I moved from 36 to 8 mg/l inside of a week. In a month I was at 4mg/l and that's what I mix today.

If you are making rich, dense vapor - you need a lower nic concentration. Delivery will always be different from burnt tobacco. A cigarette punches like a 45/70, while vaping is more akin to taking 22lr over time until you get to the targeted grain weight.

This is the one I've been using for the last 6 years. American Spirit. I suggest to start with 18mg and go up or down from there. These sample sizes are $2.50, so you could order 12mg, 18mg, and 24mg for not much money. There flat rate shipping is about $6.

Or try a few of these other tobacco flavors http://freedomsmokeusa.com/store/e-juices/pre-mixed-specialties/tobacco.html

Let her read the descriptions and pick a few that sound good. I have tried the 555, Pall Mall, Kickin Apple, Purecig, RY4, Sunrise, Winston, and Wyatt Earp. All are tobacco flavors

This is the one I ordered for here to try out.
Still don't know the terminolgy, subohm, etc....
The ohm/subohm refers to the resistance of the atomizer. They range from .1 to 3 ohms. Anything under 1 ohm is, well subohm. The lower the resistance the quicker the atomizer heats up and usually creates a warmer vapor.

The atomizers need to be replaced regularly based on usage. Heavy use may require weekly or whenever it starts tasting bad.

Gotta ask, these work in the one I ordered, correct?
Also, how do I know which "ohm" to get?
    What difference do they make?

Yes, they are made for the Ego One V2. I recommend you go with the .5 ohm. If your GF needs a stronger hit, which I doubt, you can switch to the .1 ohm.

The EGO One V2 comes with one of each so she'll be able to try them. Remind her to start slow the first time. These are not like the cheapo gas station e-cigs. The tank has adjustable air flow, so crank it closed as far as it will go, then open up if needed.

Feel free to PM with any ?s.

As just my .02 on it. If you can get a 70PG/30VG Ratio for the juice, it helps make it feel more like a tobacco hit. In my opinion anyway. Not as much "smoke" but, I think a much better feel and flavor.

Interesting, I ordered some samples of different nicotine amounts, all at 50/50.
It's a starting point, but getting her to give it a legitimate chance will be the hard part.

I was highly skeptical myself before giving it an honest chance. It's been over two years now, almost three, and I'll never go back to tobacco willingly.
