I haven't done one of these in a while, and we've got a number of new people, so I figured we'd get some ideas brewing.

1.) If it were your forum, what would you change?

2.) What are some good articles (topics, how-tos, etc.) you'd like to see on the forum?

3.) What would you like to see added to the forum?

4.) What is the worst part of the forum?

Let me know so I can work on changing a few things around for you guys / gals.

I would like to see iTrader added for use in the classifieds:

    iTrader v2.0.1 - vBulletin.org Forum

This enhancement is used over on Calguns.net and as a semi-frequent buyer/seller over there (when I was in CA :) ) it was an extremely useful tool to help me make decisions about the people I was dealing with. I have purchased 2 firearms from members of this forum and would love to leave them A++ iTrader feedback so that other people they deal with know I had a great experience and think they're good guys.

Have you thought about having a rimfire and/or 10/22 topic? See if Tony Kidd would sponsor it. He is down in McQueeny Texas you know

How about installing Tapatalk on the forum? I think its free and it is an app for mobile phones that allows you to access the board from an iphone, blackberry, android, etc. I use it for one of the jeep forums I hang out on and its easy to get to threads, post, PM, etc.

In the cities and towns section, there are many now useless threads about upcomming shoots that are now long past, yet still remain on the first page. How about deleting them to clean up the sections a little.

In the handgun section, how about sub sections for 1911's, glocks, BHPs, HKs, etc. so we don't have to wade through the stuff we aren't interested in. Still keep a general handgun section too.

All in all I think you guys do a great job.

It would be possible to make a classification in each thread? , for example in handguns :revolvers ,semiauto : 1911 , 22 ,To facilitate the search.

It would be cool to see a big yearly meet with the sponsers and stuff. I remember the youtube vid from your first one. It would also as Army1911 said removed old meet posts. Alot of good info and often times entertaining posts here.

Lot of things have been covered like the notion of sub forums for the pistols. Be nice to see a Glock thingy since that is all I have and maybe one more thing is maybe in the Off-Topic forum is to have one for Humor. I'd like to have a good laugh every once in a while.
Overall I think you have dang good site.

Some different sections, Cleaning up classifieds, or allowing the people that post in the classifieds to close and delete their own topics after something is sold.

Second on Preparedness forum, and a C&R section would be great. Maybe a section in a Preparedness forum solely to look at and update Border issues. No matter where you are in Texas, these issues have repercussions.

This forum works for me the way it is. I have sold 2 guns and it worked fine. It probably would be a good idea to allow the seller to remove the adds after the sale.
Good job. I enjoy looking & replying plus selling & buying.

    Minor suggestion if possible.

Have the forum mark everything as read when I leave the page. I constantly forget to hit the "mark as read" button so I lose track of what is read and not read.

Rest is fine. No complaints or suggestions.
