They finally kicked you out huh?Back home in Lampasas, TX now. Left Portland, OR about a week ago.
Yep. Too manly for that area. They finally kicked you out huh?
Yeah, it's a whole different world in Portland, far too many dingbat liberals for my taste, but then what do you expect from a place where their motto is "Keep Portland Weird" and they're proud of that.Yep. Too manly for that area.
I guess I don't own enough skinny jeans and other hipster clothing. I don't drink Starbucks coffee or go to poem readings either.
That's not quite how William Shatner did it.
What's sad is that I can remember a time back before they stole that slogan that both Portland and Austin were nice (or, at least fun) places...."Keep Portland Weird"...
What's sadder yet, is that you could say that about many cities across the U.S.What's sad is that I can remember a time back before they stole that slogan that both Portland and Austin were nice (or, at least fun) places.
I can barely remember a mid-1990s pub crawl on 6th in the wee hours with a teenage porn star, her publicist, and her makeup artist. I think I had fun, even at that late date. The memory is hazy. I do remember that only one bar stopped her to question her age and she just pointed at me and said "I'm with dad."Austin was plenty fun in the 80s...
Yep. I am sure she received a level of respect that she didn't know existed. But by knowing you, I can completely understand why she would feel that way.
10 seconds after I met her, I opened a door for her. She stopped and stared at me like I was insane for several seconds.Yep. I am sure she received a level of respect that she didn't know existed.
Hey you forgot to mention her screen name.I can barely remember a mid-1990s pub crawl on 6th in the wee hours with a teenage porn star, her publicist, and her makeup artist. To my mind, a poignant addendum: Two years later, she introduced me to her fiance and basically asked permission to marry him. I had only spent a week and a few random days with the girl and she had been so neglected by the men in her life to that point that in such a short time she came to view me as a father figure. I was flattered and saddened at the same time.
I guess that's what happens to pretty girls who are born and raised in San Francisco.
No he didn't....Hey you forgot to mention her screen name.
