    Thank you.
    Finally somebody gets it.

Not really down with poisoning them, but I've thought about it.
When I've gotten to the point that I've thought about poisoning a cat - it's well past being a house cat and is into the "nuisance pest" area at that point. That's usually after all other options are exhausted - shooting them with a non-lethal round, yelling at them, chasing them with the dogs, talking to the neighbors (of course not all in that order).

The only cat owner contact I've had is on the "Nextdoor" app.
Any anti-cat talk, and I was labelled a cat hater, and was ganged up on by several different people.
No logic available, cats are God, you're an a$$hole, lol.

My cat should be allowed to crap in your flowerbed if it wants to.

Oh yea? Well, it's my property and if I want to put out bowls of antifreeze to catch the mosquitos, I'm free to do that as well. I hide them in the flower beds so they don't look tacky. Not my fault you don't control your cat and allow it to drink whatever it wants.

A neighbor's cat used to hang out just outside of my fence and drive my dogs batshit crazy. They would bark and he would just lay there taunting them. One day I sneaked around and through open the gate. The dogs took off after him through neighborhood. They didn't catch him but he never did that again.

I opened the door and the cat was halfway up the fence, the airsoft pistol was on the kitchen counter. Shooting courses would not have helped.
If I had looked out the window before opening the door and seen it, things might have been different.

Airsoft? A good pellet gun would be much more effective. Or a .22 with CB shorts.

I'm sorry, cats are pets too. This is almost like saying; " these female children keep coming around, I must kill them, I only like boys".

There are other ways to handle this, ( like TALK to your neighbors. ) I had an outdoor cat for about 15 years, he wasn't tolerated by the neighbors, he was beloved.

Well, aren't you special? If you going to have a pet you need to keep on it your property.

cat owners are like small dog owners who think they don't need to have the dog on a leash in public.

Ya I am sure all the neighbors loved picking his shit out of the garden and paying to remove scratches from cars. Having there dogs annoyed by your darling running free

Be a responsible pet owner and control your animal.

So when you talk to the neighbors and their only response is "Well, fluffy is an outdoor cat, so there's nothing I can (will) do." - how are you supposed to work with that? They basically just told you they don't want fluffy in their house so you have to deal with him.

Want your cat to be an outdoor cat? Go buy a farm.

Cats are den animals. They can go their entire life inside and have a happy life. If the yard is open, leash train it and have the leash on a runner if you want.

It's a cat. Mother Nature's perfect hunter. It's responsible for some species going extinct. You gotta experience making friends with one to answer to owning one. Liz Taylor is muh' buddy. She still has all 20 razor blades. Black cat.

I like her enough to keep her out other people's yards.

One woman argued that her cat wanted to go out and would sit at the door and cry. The only way to get it to stop was to let it out.

My mom uses mothballs to keep cars out of her garden.

She swears it works...but I’ve never tried it. Because I’m married to a cat lady FML
