Here's one. Dodge doesn't make trucks anymore. Everything you see past 2017 isn't a Dodge. It doesn't have the Dodge label either.
Actually, it's been that way since 2010. RAM became its own division of FCA in 2010. My 2015 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel doesn't have the name "Dodge" anywhere on it, in it, or in any of the literature associated with it.

Tell me something I don’t know...like how do you like your truck?

IMHO that truck is in a sweet spot - 1/2 ton small diesel engine - with no competition.

If I was in the market for a new 1/2 ton, that would be at the top of my list.

Here's an example of what a weldee is:
Working for the Navy, in most cases a firewatch is assigned to one or more weldors to make sure no fires start. Many times other weldors are used as firewatches and playing jokes on each other are common. One elderly weldor was firewatching for about four of us weldors while we were welding a containment for a reactor on a deactivated ship. This elderly firewatch found himself a chair and situated himself to where he could see all four of us. Now firewatching gets quite boring, in fact I would much rather weld than firewatch, so it was no surprise that our firewatch fell asleep in his chair. The deck that we were working on is made of metal, so one of us, while the firewatch slept bent some flatbar in the shape of U's. The four of us welded those flatbars tightly over the firewatche's boots to the deck. Then one of us yelled "FIRE" waking the firewatch. He ended up pulling his feet out of the boots and grabbed a grinder to get his boots free, all the while having to endure the taunting and laughter of the four of us. That would be a weldee.
But are any of them from Waelder?

It's a great truck. Mine has 156,000 miles on it and I'm the second owner. I average about 19-21 in the City stuff and 23-25 out on the highway.

Was it? I thought the first four were out already but really haven't researched it. I knew it wasn't anytime during the last 9 coming out though and didn't mean to imply that by any means.

It was one of their ex navy seal divers.
Before they started taking anyone out.

Or you could start doing MAN stuff and decide that a 1/2 ton isn't enough truck.

I need a 3/4 at least for the towing & payload capacity. I like the sweet spot of my '98 12v Quad cab... if the cab was 12" longer, it would be perfect. (one could make the point it's perfect now, since my kids are too big to ride in the back seat anymore... so the radio always plays my music, there's no whining, etc... because they're in another vehicle)

The first production pickup came out in 1925, I bet it wasn't a 6.2L or 6.5L.
