So you may find this funny.

I've never really seen the point in single shot rifles.

I've NEVER seen the point of single shot handguns in rifle calibers.

Yesterday I find myself looking at Freedom Arms revolvers on their website. Scroll down a bit and I spy the Model 2008.

And NOW I find myself thinking "Hey, one of those in 45-70 or .243 might be kind of cool..."

    What is wrong with me?

I dunno but I advise you to run away. Once you become smitten by the concept of a little 6-pound or lighter pistol that can hit beer cans 500 yards away from a bench, you can disappear down a rabbit hole of crazier and crazier guns.

If I were really evil, I'd bring my 6.5BR pistol to the April meet. :)

I guess it's a rain day. By the look of the dogs and cats. It's going to dreary all day. They don't want any part in going outside.

I usually kick all the critters outside around 9:30. They know what's up. Sunshine. Not today. Everything is curled up and not waiting by the door.

It hasn't stopped drizzling all day.

The women want their Christmas presents from James Avery. Again. I'm cool with that. Really makes its easy. I don't mind the price because some time in the future. The silver will be worth what I paid.

I watched a documentary tonight and was actually quite surprised. Now I knew by reading what it was about that it was filmed by a democrat, and seeing it was filmed by a gal named Alexandra Pelosi, wondering if she was related to Nancy, I decided to watch "Outside The Bubble". I figured if nothing else I could call BS and possibly get a good laugh out of another fantasy.

What it was about was that she wanted to visit areas that believe in Trump (middle America) and find out why. I was expecting that she would push her views, but that's what surprised me, she actually listened and let others explain their views.

The documentary went to Sutherland Springs and Port Arthur in Texas, Alabama, Charlottesville, Virginia, Pennsylvania and the Border Wall, and the message was more about listening to others, even if you disagree with them.

Maybe I missed the anti Trump message coming from the daughter, which I found out later, of Nancy Pelosi and only focused on the positive, but I found it was actually quite good, and that's why it surprised me.
