AR-15/10 shortage?

I was looking at ar-15 , ar-10 parts and rifles and seemed to me nobody stocked much of any.. aero precision had nothing. PSA nothing, Faxon hardly had any barrels in stock etc

Yep. With all the current gun ban and restriction talk people are buying them up.

It doesn't really take much to get people in a panic.

Not seeing it in personally. PSA's AR10 models selection is generally hit or miss. They run specials from time to time and that's when their inventory blooms.

You may also be seeing a slight bump in sales due to Congress coming back into session this week. That slight bump in sales could be just the enough to reveal how little stock some vendors/manufacturers actually carry for "everyday" demand.

Of course, I would say though, if you planned on buying something this year or next, today is better then tomorrow. The 2020 election was bound to ramp up sales even before any of the recent shooting events.

Just off the top of my head, I'm not attesting to whether I think they are a good deal or not, but they are available......

Prices are still low...if demand was that strong, I’d expect to see prices rise.

It seems “out of stock” items are pretty common among firearms sellers, at least as far as I can remember.

Had to go look, although a lot of things are OOS at Aero Precision, they still have a lot. But they did have some sales there the last few weeks, I was getting emails almost every day for awhile there.
