I consider myself having rattlesnake like reaction times, like, if you tip a cup of coffee over your laptop, I'll catch it before a single drop gets spilled, but I could not have reacted/complied with the order in the time between "let me see your hands" (or words to that effect) and the ensuing gun fire.

Sees someone in their house and thinks they are a threat to him and shoots them. I would love to see the Academy Training which says this is procedure.

From BodyCam, it seemed the time from when he saw person to shot person was 1 second or so. No person could have reacted properly to his commands in that time frame.

It seems we have a significant number of young, inexperienced cops who are literally scared to death every second they are on the job. He should not have even have had his gun out of the holster.

Watch it twice, then the second time around, look at the counter and see how much (how little) time passed between him starting to yell at her and shooting her.

Starting with "White Officer shoots Black Woman"......so I am to believe he shot her only because she is Black and he is White? What difference does the race make in this story......the cop would have shot a White person in the same situation......

He was absolutely wrong in this shoot, I cannot and will not defend his actions........

But I really do not believe race played any part of it....................

Well the news story mentions both black female victim and white male cop, but nothing besides that, last I looked.

And to prove it, last year another cop a few towns over shot a white man through his window at night after prowling around his house. No bill, no riots.
