I have 3 daughters, it was close to fewer in their teen years on many occasions. Overall I wouldn't trade a thing.
When my granddaughter was 2, my daughter was talking to me on the phone about how rough it was with a 2 year old. I told her "wait until she's thirteen, you'll look back fondly at 2 years old". She paused and said "OH NO!", I just laughed.

They say that parents eventually reap what they sowed as children through their own offspring, and I was a wild gypsy child with a fighting side (now I'm just older). I performed well in school, but took a whole lot of licks from a paddle and a belt because I walked to the beat of my own drum, unafraid of most consequences. I hope they stay wild and free, honestly. They have my never surrender fighting spirit, I hope to guide that as well as I can as a father, I'm sure it'll be rough at times.

Well, she was wild at times, and she actually got away with a lot, but I still remember phrases like, "You guys never let me do anything!" "You guys don't love me anymore!" "I hate you!" and many more lovely things that parents just love to hear.

My little Mousie turned 5 this week, shes now the proud owner of her first real "shoot gun" as she likes to call it.

No clue what that is and knowing you I am not even going to look it up.

I will say if I ever wore shoes like that I'd have to kick my own ass.
Bruno Magli loafers = high $$ shoes, something I don't have or want, too.

It was funnier last night if only in my mind. :(

Which is why he didn't go to prison. Lol

Love 'em, hate 'em, he's had an incredible life. I don't envy or wish it on anyone, just a comment on the highs & lows.

Dammit, I don't need to see that!

I have no room and mostly no interest in taking care of (walking in the rain, etc.) a dog but, I REALLY want one !
