You're just mean.
You're just mean.
Yes sir. I ate a few meals there in the same time period. So any of y'all remember The Stallion on Lamar in Austin? Maybe not the greatest CFS, but pretty decent and affordable to this poor college student back in the early 1980's.
I found my picture from Lulu's. This was the small chicken fried steak, the large one was served on a pizza pan.Not sure if it's been mentioned but, Lulu's Bakery and Cafe in San Antonio has an awesome chicken fried steak. Their cinnamon rolls are quite impressive, too.

If you are in Vernon, why would you eat anywhere but Lupe's (texmex)? If you big city people ever get out to Vernon there is a cafe named The Three Hearts that serves an awesome chicken fried steak.
I ate there years ago on a RTE when everyone got rained out except me. Nice place, but the subject is CFS or ham steak. LOL!If you are in Vernon, why would you eat anywhere but Lupe's (texmex)?
Why yes it is. (All my buddies live in big cities so it is a tongue in cheek reference.)Is "The Big Town" = F'burg?
We may be going through in the next couple of days...
I thought that subject was done, resolved, and buried.I ate there years ago on a RTE when everyone got rained out except me. Nice place, but the subject is CFS or ham steak. LOL!

OK, if @deemus can do it, I can too. Ordered pick up from Belle’s Chicken Dinner House. It wasn’t LuLu’s caliber CFS, but it was good.

Sometimes, I'm not known for making good choices. I choose all three!Pecan, Pumpkin, or Chocolate?
