    Out here by the lake!
I like Kelley's basic breakfast but their gravy was disappointing.
All Kelly aint the same. The one on Park Place is great & where I take people going or coming from Hobby. Pearland is fair, while the one in totally dissapointed me. I order SOS on toast for breakfast & they took a fried hamburger & broke it up in bad gravy. The guy that turned me on to to Joes knows wich ones are the best as he has ate at all one them.

I use to stop & get the kountry boy breakfast the go to the gun club as it carried me thru the day.

what the **** is a ham steak?

pretty hard to beat CFS with a name like ham steak.
Does he mean Pork Chop? CFS still wins.
    Not a pork chop.

On a related topic. Clear Springs has the best onion rings I have ever tasted. Chicken tenders are great, but I can't remember if I have tried their CFS.
You had to go and mention onion rings. Now I am starving.

BTW, there's a little family restaurant near Castroville, called "Cora's" (Hwy 471), that has the best rings we ever tasted. They also feature the "Best Nachos in Texas". We had them and they are very good. But I have to sample all the rest now to see if the claim is true...

There use to be a little hole in the wall restaurant in Corsicana that I ate at occasionally after work before heading back to Palestine. I don't think it's there anymore. But they had a pretty decent CFS amd had some wonderful home made onion rings. First time I ordered them, (they were in the appetizer section on the menu.) they brought out this HUGE basket of onion rings. They were pretty damned good!

Porky's Hamburger and Onion Company. here in the Big Town. Made on site, the name should suffice.
