To me, Eagle Rare is like Blantons. While both are good and I enjoy them both, I don’t think they are worthy of the hype.Wife's family is from TN, MIL brought me some Eagle Rare, stuff is the bomb. Bout to head out there for the 4th and try and find more!

I regularly bought Henry McKenna 10 for $31 before it won some stupid award and now you can’t find it.
IMO about the best Bourbon obtainable now is Old Forester 1920.
My go-to is 18 year old Glenlivet. Their 15 year old French cask reserve is quite nice, as is their 16 year old Glenlivet Nadurra.
.
So is water....Jim Beam....Just because it's pretty danged smooth.
I've taking a liking to Jack Daniels Honey and Coke or ice, lately.
That was long ago, give it a shot again.I drank so much Jack Daniel's years ago, that I can't even like the stuff anymore.

I'll tire of it, eventually.
