Picked up a sig kilo 2200 bdx range finder. Honestly, the verdict is still out. I have been messing around with it for a couple hours now. I was getting some crappy pairing with the app and the unit was locking me out. It was also in a upgrade firmware loop for like an hour.. When it works it seems to be OK so far. I will give it a rip tomorrow at work during the day.
Hopefully this weekend I can get to the range to ping those targets out past the 500 berm. This particular unit should give ballistic solutions out to 800 yards.
...
This is the fancy one that should be able to read out past 2k. For double the price, the 2400 has a full ballistic calc built in.I have the slightly older model (kilo 2k), and it's been fantastic...depending on the target, and assuming it's working properly, I would think you should easily get double that (farthest I've ranged with mine was a vehicle at ~2k).
ETA: I should learn how to read; you were referring to the ballistic calc, my bad...
Yea I got lucky for sure at my lgs. They are about 1.5 hours away so its kind of a haul but usually worth itNice! Local gun store find?
