Buddy of mine wanted an AR before the election for ... reasons ... so I sold him the 16" PSA that I built. That means I got to build another rifle, and I went with a PSA FN barrel 14.5" pin & weld setup. I shot & zeroed the upper over the weekend, and just finished putting the LPK into the lower this afternoon.

The PSA premium Nickel Boron BCG is really cool. That finish is slick like it's teflon coated... very cool the first time you lay hands on it.

New to me Marlin "not a Remlin" 336W.

You know those are addictive right? I have a 336W, sold the other 336, an 1894 in 44 Magnum, and 1895 Cowboy, and I've got my eye on an 1894C in 357 Magnum. If I could find one of the old Marlin's in 22 WMR I'd be done. Of course, those are rare as hen's teeth.

They are! I have a few lever guns, but this is my second Marlin. Other is a 1895G. 1894 in .357 is next on the list! Or I may settle on a Henry. Have a Browning 92 .44 also.

Didn't Para try something like this many years ago? Or am I thinking of someone else?

    Either way, pretty sharp lookin'.
Yeah - Para version was called a "Warthog". I really liked it, but my hands were just too big. Thumb rested perfectly on the mag release. Turned an 11 round 1911 into a single shot pistol with a magazine laying on the ground. Every time. Sold it to a buddy of mine and he's been banging it ever since. This one really looks like a cool pistol.
