It's that time again ... time to get feedback and comments on what we can do to improve TGT for you. Take a moment to answer these questions ... and as always, if you want to PM the answers to me, that's fine as well.

If there are any other comments, feel free to list them in your reply. We need your ideas and feedback to make the site better for you. We've started the Man Cave, Knife forum, increased PMs, reduced post counts for classifieds, etc. based off of your responses. So let's hear it!

    1) What do you like most about the site?
    2) What do you dislike the most about the site?
    3) What would you like for the site to add more of?
    4) Are there any ideas for videos, product reviews, etc.?
    5) If you ran this site, what would you do differently?
    6) Do you feel the site is ran fairly?
    7) How would you feel about a yearly Moderator Election?

    1) i liek the varied opinions in all the subforums, it is fun to looks at things from perspectives i hadnt thought of before, the easiest way to do this is through somone esles eyes. i see alot of that here. it is good.

    2) when / if i think of something i will come back and edit this one.

    3) Phew, interesting question, the content here is mainly user generated, im not sure i understand what you are getting at, short of getting more interesting memebers with unique points of view.

    4) I love watching and reading reviews of weapons gear and other nifty things. instructional videos and such are also alot of fun. Some complete takedown and re-assembly videos for some of the more popular weapons would be awesome! (especially if they are starring folks from the ranks of TGTers)

    5) I might get some google adspace or something, but we get so much traffic jsut from search engines i guess it isnt nessecary. It would be cool to have an email address at @TexasGuntalk.com, but again, not really nessecary, and that is also a Hosting issue not nessecarily a site management thing.

    6) this has been addressed, and i still have no beef with any calls that have been made.

    7) I think this is an awesome idea. Might want to put in an impeachment thingy too though, ;) or minimum term lengths hah.

    8) No. The videos are to cool, and it makes me sad that it is hard for me to get out and have fun with you guys. (havent done it yet since 2009)
Actually yes, i do. and almost got a youtube accoutn jsut to subscribe. i still might.

can we submit stuff to get added potentially to this channel?

    :)
ok i filled out the survey, where are my ammo coupons?

We get a ton of Google traffic, but I've entertained the idea of advertising in print media. I'm not sure how exactly that'd play out, but I might just have to try it and see.

It will be done with a set of rules in place. It's a stolen idea from my dad's forum, and it seems to work well and really get people motivated.

Absolutely, just email me with a brief synopsis of what you have and we'll get it uploaded.

    1) The info and the comradery

    2) Trolls and know-it-alls, but thats any forum, it's the nature of the beast, nothing a specifically dislike about TGT

    3) videos, but then again it would just end up being no different than youtube, but I like vids

    4) Would love to see a section for people to post their range or competition vids, and maybe a review section for either written or vid reviews, just a thought.

    5) nothing

    6) Very fairly

    7) Honestly don't know enuff about how forums work to say what all a moderator does, and should they be elected yearly ..... lol

    8) Yes I do, I'm subbed to u guys

this season ive handed out your URL to all the guys that come in my lobby with rifle cases. dunno if any of them have joined but a couple have gone and lerked on the lobby compy. i think it would be cool to put some fliers around at ranges and stuff.

This is what I would like to see in the future months.. maybe when things heat up so an outdoor venture would be a possibility, maybe a spot like green mesquite or a BBQ joint or w/e that is reasonably priced. I would like TGT to do a " Leo and Military" appreciation lunch or dinner. We get as many people as we can to do a meet and great on a local level to support our troops and local LEOs at the same time. Board members show up and non-leo/military bring an extra $5-$10 to treat our hard working members that protect us domestic and abroad to a good meal. We can talk shop and get to know each other and maybe use the time to also constructively and creatively come up with future shoots, meets, and ideas for the board and growth of our sport in our area.

push the idea.. get on board and lets show our appreciation.

    Cool.

Next time perhaps wait more than 20 minutes after I get up to start asking me questions. I've not even had any coffee yet and I'm not up good. I'm sure if I try again later I can do better.

    1) It's state specific and firearms related. 2) Some people are pretty thin-skinned. Some are not very tolerant of opposing views. I feel both cost new members. 3) Nothing I can think of. 4) No. 5) Nothing 6) Yes. 7) Just appoint them as you see fit. You do a good job. 8) Haven't seen it.
