Worth noting: A major factor in the civil war was the fact that the north had telegraph wires strung up across large portions of the area which allowed communications to travel where they needed to be in a matter of hours instead of days or even weeks.

If you don’t think the ability to communicate with a large audience is important in a fight for truth and the soul of this nation, I’m not sure what to tell you. But the fact that you come to this forum to communicate proves your comment about “just using a phone” is not true and it’s inability to communicate effectively to the necessary audience is why you are here.

Oh I have no doubts what you're alluding too. But... That still takes active surveillance. Chip technology does not have that limitation. Wanna know where some one is? Punch in their chip ID, click "submit" satellite communications blink and fractions of a second later you have subjects precise location. Click [OBSERVE] on the computer screen and the nearest set of cameras to the subject comes to life rotating to locate subject while simultaneously bringing subject into sharp focus thereby enabling facial recognition process to confirm and lock on subject for continual observation.

Since I come from the era before tech I have to ask who is their customer? I get my answer when I see my wife and sons on their smart phones and I'm reminded of Pogo. We have met the enemy and he is us.

I use a flip phone that doesn't text, drives people at work crazy, but I can read the phone numbers. I just say call me. That said I do use the internet and like it. I would never have been able to do the resto work on the 68 Dodge Charger I have posted here without the internet and access to the Charger forum.

Not sure how we can separate the customer from facebook or twitter without losing good things like this forum.
